About BF Roofing Ltd.

BF Roofing Ltd. was established in 1984 with the goal of creating an innovative services company in the Roofing Industry. It was our dream to create a company that could service the Kootenays and Okanagan with abundance of knowledge, experience and an unmatched skill set in every application of roofing. In 2015, BF Roofing Ltd was officially taken over and has since been under the new management of Ron & Jarrod Buchy, a father son team with over 40 year of experience in the roofing industry.

Our highly experienced and diversified team is well rounded in all form of Residential, Commercial and Industrial Roofing. BF Roofing Ltd. has safely and successfully completed all type project from Victoria to Regina, ranging from Hydroelectric Dam Sites to Residential High Rise Apartment Complexes. Specializations & Fabrication

BF Roofing Ltd. is specialized in Industrial and Commercial applications. We have an abundance of experience in serving highly technical clients such as Zellstoff Celgar and Teck Metals with extremely difficult roofing projects (toxic environments, minimal access, etc…).

BF Roofing Ltd. also have a fully integrated metal fabrication shop which gives us the ability to fabricate and install any type of flashing used in the roofing and construction industry. Our metal team has a combined 30 years of experience in metal fabrication and installation.

Ron Buchy

Owner/President

Ron has been involved in the roofing industry since 1974 and carries an abundance of knowledge in roofing application with his specialty being flat roofing. Different from other owners you can find Ron working alongside his team on the roof as he highly values the proactive management approach. Ron believes that to ensure the highest quality of workmanship is met the owner lead by example.

Jarrod Buchy

Owner/Director of Operation/CFO

Jarrod has been in the roofing Industry since 2003 when he graduated high school. He is a Certified Red Seal Journeyman in Roofing, Damp and waterproofing. While completing his Journeyman Ticket in 2009 he received the prestigious top apprentice award for the interior of British Columbia, resulting in his name being recognized and registered with RCABC (Roofers Contractors Association of British Columbia).

Jarrod also hold a CET (Certified Engineering Technologist) certification in Petroleum Engineering Technology making him an excellent problem solver and an extremely well-rounded asset to our highly diversified team.
